I who Don’t Live

Viviana is a former dreamer who can’t find peace. Life at 40 isn’t what she thought it would be when she was little. Always haunted by pain, she left home early to take refuge in other people’s lives; she’s an actress. Unfortunately, even her beloved work doesn’t give her what she was looking for. Men even less so. She was recently left. Finding pleasure is difficult. She tries to make sense of things through therapy, but it’s not easy to figure it out. She’s alone. She has lost most of the people she loved. Her greatest affection is for her mother, who lately has been acting strange, doing senseless things. She turns out to be sick, starting to lose pieces of her life, and will forget even her daughter, although she will be there, by her side. The pain is unbearable, starting to overflow from Viviana’s body, seeming to take her breath away. But breathing, at this moment, is essential – she must do it, even for her mom. Now that everything is darker than ever, she has a duty to search for fireflies of happiness.
